Shooting Gloves is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from There is a design fault with these gloves. The magnets in the fingers pick up cartridges when you put your hand in your pocket to reload, often throwing the cartridge on the ground in the mud! Much better to use velcro. My friend bought the same gloves and has the same problem. So I will have to buy a pair of old fashioned leather gloves which have velcro to hold hack the trigger finger! An expensive pretty useless product!!! From SealSkinz: Hi Chris, thanks for the feedback, we have the shooting glove in Black that has velcro so both options are available. Some people prefer the magnet in wetter / muddier conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If your'e a hunter youll enjoy these glove Ok so one guy complained about the gloves not being for "left handed shooters"-the trigger finger on both gloves folds back so that is a moot point. The other guy complained about the glove utilizing magnets rather than Velcro. If you truly are a hunter than you should know that when sitting in a blind or stalking an animal the sound of Velcro can seem like one of the loudest noises on earth. The magnet system is quiet and wont get gnarly after a while like Velcro does. This type of glove is built for more precision shooting -such as deer hunting. When your deer hunting you probably wont have a pocket full of loose cartridges to get stuck on the magnet, that is unless you are a terrible shot and need that many. If your out varmint hunting and have a pocket full of shells/cartridges and the magnet is really that big of an issue for you then Sealskinz makes a variety of other gloves to suit your needs, you don't necessarily need a naked trigger finger for that kind of shooting. I think the previous two consumers that wrote reviews have no clue what they are talking about and just needed something to complain about. If you are a serious hunter you will probably enjoy this purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Than Shooting Gloves I got a pair of these gloves in 2012 to use for ice fishing. I have used them for three seasons now in Colorado and couldn't be happier. -The fold-back fingers allow me to pick out small lures, bait hooks, and tie knots. I usually only remove the gloves when handling fish (to keep them clean and odor free). -I have comfortably fished for hours with these gloves in -20degF (-29C) weather. However on cold days, water beading on the outside of the glove may freeze, especially on fingertips, when that happens the utility drops but I blame that on the way I use the gloves not the design and materials. - They fit comfortably and the insulation is thin enough so that I can maintain sensitivity when trying to feel light biting fish. - The waterproofing has been excellent, I often dip my fingers into the ice cold water to clear out slush & break up ice. After three years the waterproofing has degraded slightly but I'm hopeful that can be improved with a wash to remove oils that have worked in rather than resorting to a spray. - I also use them on cold days in the fall and spring with my spinning reel, no problems with making good casts or detecting strikes. They are good looking gloves and I wear them on cold days just for getting around town.
